Invasive Interventional Cardiologist Faculty Position in Structural Heart Disease (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) University of California, Davis in United States

UC Davis Health / University of California, Davis is recruiting a full-time faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine for an Invasive Interventional Cardiologist with a focus on structural heart disease. The appointment is available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinical X or Health Sciences Clinical series.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative academic cardiology division with expertise in interventional cardiology, structural heart, advanced cardiovascular imaging, heart failure, electrophysiology, and general cardiology. The role includes inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, interventional and structural heart procedures, teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, cardiology fellows, and advanced trainees, and contributing to the growth of a multidisciplinary structural heart program at a major academic medical center and regional referral hub in Sacramento, California.

Research and academic interests such as clinical research, quality improvement, innovation, and program development are desirable. Procedural experience of interest includes transcatheter valve therapies, left atrial appendage occlusion, paravalvular leak closure, and septal closure procedures. Experience interpreting echocardiography and cardiac CT is highly desirable.

Eligibility highlights: M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent; board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology; ACGME-accredited fellowship or equivalent experience; California medical licensure or eligibility; teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate level. Fellowship training and clinical experience in structural heart disease are strongly preferred.

Funding/salary: This is a paid faculty position with a posted salary range of $387,517-$475,590 (Assistant), $433,155-$530,000 (Associate), and $439,063-$519,274 (Full), plus membership in the Health Sciences Compensations Plan.
