The Eli Reinhard Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University's Taube Center for Jewish Studies is a prestigious one-year, full-time appointment for scholars in all fields of Jewish Studies. The fellowship begins in Fall 2026 and offers a competitive annual salary of $77,000 to $80,000, plus benefits. Fellows are expected to be in residence at Stanford, actively participate in the Center’s scholarly events and colloquia, teach one undergraduate course, and present a public lecture or workshop on their research in progress. The fellowship is open to applicants who have earned their PhD within the past three years, as well as advanced doctoral students who will have their PhD conferred by July 1, 2026 (with confirmation from their dissertation advisor). Preference is given to those who have not previously held another postdoctoral appointment.
