Radboud University in the Netherlands is seeking a Molecular Biology Analyst to join the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS-Science) within the Faculty of Science. This position is part of the Oncode Accelerator project, which aims to accelerate the development of new cancer treatments. The successful candidate will work in the lab of Prof. Dr. Michiel Vermeulen, focusing on proteomics analyses to identify cellular targets and off-targets of novel cancer drugs and lead compounds.

The role involves hands-on laboratory work, including the operation and maintenance of advanced mass spectrometry equipment for proteomics experiments. The analyst will also contribute to general lab management, such as overseeing laboratory use, ordering supplies, and ensuring safety protocols. Collaboration with other researchers, students, and groups within the Oncode Accelerator project is a key aspect of the position, as is maintaining contacts with colleagues from other departments and external suppliers.

Applicants must have a completed HLO degree in Biology (BML), Biochemistry, or a related field, and possess experience with various molecular biology techniques. Strong laboratory skills, motivation for both fundamental and applied research, and good communication abilities are essential. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required due to the international nature of the lab environment.

The position offers a one-year contract (0.8–1.0 FTE) with a gross monthly salary ranging from €3,057 to €3,985, depending on qualifications and experience.
