About this position

Funding is available for three years and covers tuition fees, plus up to RMB 16,500 for international conference participation. RA/TA subsidy may be offered based on performance. The scholarship holder is expected to conduct most research in Suzhou, China, with possible short-term research visits to the University of Liverpool if needed.

Eligibility highlights: a Master's degree with Merit and a Bachelor's degree with first-class or upper second-class honours are required; exceptional Bachelor's-only candidates may be considered. Good spoken and written English is essential, and IELTS 6.5 or equivalent is required for non-native English speakers.
