What's required
Applicants must have completed a professional medical degree or a master's degree in sociology, political science, anthropology, health economics, social economics, health sciences, or another relevant field. They must have good written and oral Norwegian and English skills, documented by secondary school diploma or similar, and experience using either qualitative analysis or statistical analysis from the master's thesis. Admission to the PhD programme requires a bachelor's degree of 180 credits and a master's degree of 120 credits, or an integrated master's degree of 300 credits, plus a master's thesis of at least 30 credits (or 20 credits for integrated master's), with grade C or better on both thesis and average. Relevant experience in health services research, mixed methods, primary care, publications, teaching, and research communication is preferred.
