This PhD focuses on molecular epidemiology, pancreatic cancer, biomarker discovery, extracellular vesicles, high-throughput data analysis, omics analyses, statistical modeling, and machine-learning-based modeling. The work combines translational experiments, population-based cohorts, and clinical biobanks, with both dry-lab and wet-lab components.

Applicants should have a relevant Master’s degree (or equivalent), strong background in cancer biology/extracellular vesicles, experience with biomarker research, and skills in lab methods such as ultracentrifugation, ELISA, and flow cytometry. Strong analytical, scientific writing, and presentation skills in English are required. For non-Nordic degrees, TOEFL or IELTS is required.

The position is a four-year, full-time doctoral studentship with monthly salary and standard Lund University employment benefits. The work is expected to be carried out on site in Malmö.
