About this position
PhD opportunity in France at Inserm UMR 1085 IRSET – ELIXIR team within the Brittany Doctoral College of Life and Health Sciences.
The BIOBRAIN project focuses on urban environment, cognitive development, biomarkers, environmental health, epidemiology, biostatistics, and neuroscience. The research will examine how early-life exposure to urban factors such as air pollution, noise, green spaces, and the built environment influences cognitive development from childhood to adolescence, as well as selected biological markers.
The project uses longitudinal and multi-exposure approaches and draws on the European birth cohorts PELAGIE (France) and INMA (Spain). This is a strong fit for candidates interested in population-based research, cohort studies, and quantitative analysis of environmental exposures and child development.
Eligibility highlights: background in epidemiology, biostatistics, neuroscience, or a related field; strong skills in R or SAS; excellent English.
Supervision: Bénédicte Jacquemin and co-supervision by Anne-Claire Binter.
No deadline or application link is provided in the post. Interested candidates should contact the supervisors or the hosting team for application instructions.
