Applicants from civil engineering or other engineering disciplines are welcome, as are candidates from engineering education, construction or project management, organizational or industrial psychology, sociology, higher education, human factors, workforce development, management, and related fields. The post notes that applicants whose interests fall outside the RORS-related opportunity may still express interest, but they should clearly explain intellectual fit and how they would support the project. Funding for work outside the primary project should not be assumed.
Preferred preparation includes a thesis-based master's degree, published peer-reviewed manuscripts, qualitative research experience, critical literature synthesis, theory-informed research, and experience developing scholarly manuscripts. Anticipated start is Fall 2027.
Funding details
Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
