PhD opportunity in Myelin Regeneration and Brain Aging at Ulm University, Germany, in the Dimou Lab – Molecular and Translational Neuroscience.

This fully funded doctoral project focuses on the molecular mechanisms that control myelin regeneration, remyelination, and brain aging. The research combines human iPSC-derived oligodendrocyte lineage cells, single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq), and pharmacological and viral gene modulation to identify molecular targets that may enhance myelin homeostasis during aging.

The position is well suited to candidates interested in neuroscience, glial biology, cell biology, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, and translational approaches in regenerative medicine.
