PhD opportunity in Myelin Regeneration and Brain Aging at Ulm University , Germany, in the Dimou Lab – Molecular and Translational Neuroscience . This fully funded doctoral project focuses on the molecular mechanisms that control myelin regeneration , remyelination , and brain aging . The research combines human iPSC-derived oligodendrocyte lineage cells , single-nucleus RNA sequencing (snRNA-seq) , and pharmacological and viral gene modulation to identify molecular targets that may enhance myelin homeostasis during aging. The position is well suited to candidates interested in neuroscience , glial biology , cell biology , molecular biology , biomedical sciences , and translational approaches in regenerative medicine.
