About this position
PhD opportunity in Neuroscience at Hospital del Mar Research Institute, Barcelona, Spain. This 4-year predoctoral position focuses on understanding the properties of human neural circuits using surgically resected human brain tissue from epilepsy patients.
The selected PhD student will use advanced imaging or patch-clamp electrophysiology to study how human circuits function and how they are altered in disease. The project is carried out by a new team at Hospital del Mar Research Institute (HMRIB), working closely with the Hospital del Mar Epilepsy and Neurosurgery Units.
