What's required

Applicants must hold a master’s degree or equivalent in Ecology, Geography, Earth Sciences, or another relevant discipline, or have submitted the master’s thesis before the deadline, with the degree awarded before appointment. Strong competence or experience in GIS and remote sensing and/or geospatial analysis is required, along with experience processing spatial environmental data, knowledge of mountain environmental processes, alpine ecology and/or vegetation change, and ability to use R, Python or similar analytical tools. Applicants should work independently and in a structured manner, collaborate well in interdisciplinary teams, and have good written and oral English.
