What's required

Applicants must satisfy admission requirements for the faculty’s PhD program. This normally includes a master’s degree or equivalent in education or special needs education, a master’s degree (120 ECTS) with minimum grade B and a thesis of at least 30 ECTS graded at least B, a bachelor’s degree with minimum grade C, or for 5-year studies an average grade of C or better for the first three years and B or better for the last two years, with the master’s thesis graded at least B. Applicants must have fluent oral and written English and Norwegian or another Scandinavian language. Previous experience with practice-oriented research and/or relevant experience from special needs education in Norwegian kindergarten and/or schools is preferred, along with strong personal suitability, independence, collaboration, communication, structure, and motivation for inclusive practices.
