We are looking for a motivated PhD student to join our research group in semester Spring 2026 at Georgia Southern University.
The PhD research is focused on:
* Materials science and engineering
* Self-healing materials and coatings
* Super-repellent (e.g., superhydrophobic) materials and coatings
These materials have wide range of applications from aerospace and automotive to biomedical, petroleum and energy. The research combines new approaches in materials design and engineering with the real-world demands to develop the solutions that are useful in many industries.
Interested and motivated candidates with a background in materials science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or related fields and hands-on lab experience are encouraged to send a complete C.V. and transcripts to the following email address.
