Top performers may reach more than 500,000 RMB/year total, plus a 360,000 RMB retention bonus for staying in Shenzhen after the postdoc.

Joint PhD: 4-year program with 2.5 years in Shenzhen and 1.5 years at Wageningen University, Netherlands. The student earns a PhD from Wageningen University; tuition in China is covered, and the bench fee in the Netherlands is covered by the institute.

Eligibility: Applicants should have a background in Crop Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or a related field. Strong English communication and interest in crop improvement are expected; candidates from other disciplines with relevant skills are also welcome.
