About this position
Maastricht University is recruiting a Postdoctoral Researcher BIO-COMPaSS within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (FHML). The successful candidate will design and conduct qualitative and quantitative research, integrate findings from multiple sources, organise reflection meetings with scientific and stakeholder audiences, and report results in both academic and non-academic formats. The role requires a completed PhD in a behavioural science-related field such as health sciences, health psychology, public health, or exercise science, plus experience with research design, interviews/focus groups and/or cohort data, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Strong Dutch and English skills at C1 level are required.

What's required
Applicants must have a completed PhD in a behavioural science-related field such as health sciences, health psychology, global public health, exercise science, or a comparable discipline. Required experience includes designing, conducting, and reporting scientific research; working with both qualitative and quantitative methods; analysing interviews/focus groups and/or cohort data; and collaborating with multiple research groups and stakeholders such as residents, patients, and professionals. Strong analytical, communicative, organisational, and teamwork skills are expected, along with a proactive attitude. Knowledge of behaviour change theory and systematic development of health activities is preferred. Dutch and English proficiency at minimum C1 level (CEFR), spoken and written, is required.
