About this position

The University of Vienna is advertising a University Assistant (Postdoc) position in Computational Communication Science at the Faculty of Social Sciences, within the Computational Communication Science Lab (CCL). The lab works on mediated communication using computational methods, with a focus on digital public spheres, public opinion, journalism, and political communication.

This is a research-and-teaching postdoctoral opening for a scholar with strong expertise in agent-based modelling and simulation, network analysis, and related methods such as time series analysis and text and data mining. Experience with third-party funded projects and teaching experience are advantageous.

Funding and contract: This is a paid postdoctoral employment position with a base salary of EUR 5,014.30 gross/month for full-time work, with possible adjustment for relevant professional experience. The contract is limited until 14.09.2032.
