Postdoctoral position available in the laboratory of Dr. Dorina Avram at the Department of Immunology and Immuno-Oncology Program, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute.

The project focuses on transcriptional and epigenetic regulators that control tumor T lymphocyte programs, with the goal of identifying favorable states that support high persistence and resistance to the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. The lab aims to reprogram T cells toward these beneficial states to advance cancer immunotherapy.

Research approaches include patient-derived samples, genetically engineered mouse models, transcriptomics, epigenomics, CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing, multiplex immunofluorescence, and spatial transcriptomics.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in immunology, strong molecular biology skills, a strong commitment to research, and substantial wet-lab experience, including mouse work.
