About this position

Postdoc in Immunology at the Department of Immunology and Microbiology, University of Copenhagen (LEO Foundation Skin Immunology Research Centre).

This 2-year postdoctoral position starts on 1 January 2027 (or as soon as possible) and focuses on understanding the role of T cells in allergic diseases. The project is centered on the Coquet group and the Allergic Inflammation Group, with research interests in atopic dermatitis, asthma, rhinitis, food allergy, T helper cells, CD4 T cells, cytokines, and immune regulation.

The work combines mouse models of allergy, human samples, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing, tissue processing, computational analysis, and development of peptide/TCR screening platforms for epitope discovery. The lab also aims to develop tetrameric reagents and peptide-specific T cell detection tools.

Applicants should hold a PhD in medical sciences, immunology, molecular biology, or genetics. Strong hands-on experience with mouse models of allergy, mouse/human tissue analysis, cloning, next-generation sequencing, and excellent English communication are required. Experience with single-cell and bulk RNA-seq analysis, retro/lentiviral work, and T-cell transduction is desirable.

Funding is provided as a salaried university postdoc position. The monthly salary starts at 39,993 DKK plus pension contributions, with possible supplements depending on qualifications.

Apply online in English by the deadline of 22 October 2026. Submit a motivation letter, CV, certified/signed PhD and MSc certificates (or supervisor statement if the PhD is not completed), and a publication list.
