About this position
Postdoctoral position in multiscale and transient modeling of fluid flows in 3D woven reinforcements at SAFRAN Site de Villaroche and Centre des Matériaux, Mines Paris - PSL University, based at Campus de l'Innovation, Versailles, France.
The project focuses on 3D woven interlock composites for LEAP and RISE engines, RTM injection, and high-performance computing. Research topics include transient two-phase flow modeling in large-scale 3D textile architectures at mesoscopic scale, permeability tensor estimation, Stokes-Darcy and level-set/Hamilton-Jacobi/phase-field methods, and porting Z-set developments to A-set with HPC implementation (Mumps/BLR, DD, PETSc, C++/Python) plus parallelization and scalability analysis.
Eligibility: PhD in computational mechanics or applied mathematics with HPC and fluid mechanics experience.
How to apply: email Aubin Geoffre, Yanneck Wielhorski, and Augustin Parret-Freaud with your CV and motivation. Use the subject line: Postdoc - Multiscale and Transient Modeling of Fluid Flows in 3D Woven Reinforcements.
