About this position

The Aragon Nanoscience and Materials Institute (INMA), in collaboration with CSIC and the University of Zaragoza, is offering a postdoctoral position in the SEVEN project. The role is based in Zaragoza, Spain, and is a full-time temporary contract for up to 3 years.

SEVEN is funded by an ERC Starting Grant under the Horizon Europe framework. The project explores the biomolecular corona that forms around extracellular vesicles (EVs) and nanoparticles (NPs), with the aim of understanding how these surfaces influence targeting of metastatic tissue and supporting the design of improved therapeutic vectors.

The successful candidate will work on the analysis of the surfactome of NPs and EVs, including proteomic analysis of surface components, mass spectrometry data generation, protein identification and quantification, differential expression analysis, modelling of soft and hard corona components, and the application of artificial intelligence and multiomics approaches to surfactome analysis.

Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics or Nanotechnology. The call asks for proven expertise in proteomics, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence, together with good English communication skills.

This is a pre-announcement: the official call is expected in the second half of August 2026. The stated application deadline is 15 September 2026, 12:00 (Europe/Madrid). Interested candidates should submit their application and a motivation letter by email to María Sancho Albero at [email protected]. Additional information is available on the INMA job offers page.
