Key tasks include developing research protocols, coding instruments, codebooks, survey questionnaires, experimental stimuli, interview guides, and data-collection procedures; coordinating data collection and management from brand websites, social platforms, direct-to-consumer communications, online retailers, product packages, surveys, interviews, and other sources.

Applicants should hold a doctoral degree in public health, social and behavioral sciences, health communications, communications, health psychology, health education, or a related field. ABD candidates may be considered for interview. Preferred experience includes marketing and health communication theory, cannabis/tobacco marketing influence, and health-related attitudes and behaviors.

The position is full time and offers a salary of $65,000–$75,000, with final compensation depending on qualifications and available funds. Rutgers also provides a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
