About this position

The lab is looking for someone who can work independently and collaboratively, maintain detailed records, analyze and present data, and contribute to abstracts, manuscripts, and conference presentations. The role also includes helping with lab operations and supervising trainees as needed.

What's required

PhD required. Prior experience is preferred in bench work including western blot, immunoprecipitation, extracellular vesicle isolation, plate assays, ICC, IHC or RNAscope, microscopy, mouse behavior, tissue collection, colony maintenance, and cell culture. Experience with induced pluripotent stem cells is preferred, as is computational analysis of -omics data using R or Python, especially spatial -omics, and mass spectrometry or HPLC. Must work well collaboratively with scientists at all levels and with core facilities/shared instrumentation. Two letters of recommendation or referee contacts must be sent directly to Dr. McIntire.
