The Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Biology in the Center for Cancer Research is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to study the molecular mechanisms of cell death, especially necroptosis, and how it contributes to tumorigenesis, inflammation, and the role of alternatively differentiated macrophages in cancer development. The position is in Dr. Zhenggang Liu’s lab, a senior investigator at NCI.
Eligibility and requirements: Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. or equivalent. The ideal candidate should have a strong publication/productivity record in immunology, cell biology, and cancer research. Preferred experience includes cellular, molecular, immunological, and biochemical techniques, as well as mouse research experience.
Funding: This is a full-time, in-person training position with a starting stipend of $67,200. US citizenship or permanent residency is not required.
