The research group is particularly interested in candidates with expertise in multimodal analytics, data mining, or large language models, and who can bridge theoretical AI research with practical, real-world applications.

The ideal applicant will have a PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills suitable for interdisciplinary teamwork. The Department of Engineering at UPF provides advanced infrastructure, including high-performance computing resources, specialized audio-visual equipment, and a robust microservices infrastructure to support research activities.
