About this position
Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) is advertising a postdoctoral position in freshwater ecology and climate change at the Department of Forest Ecology and Management in Umeå, Sweden. Applicants should hold a PhD in natural sciences such as ecology, physical geography, or forestry, ideally with specialization in freshwater ecology, limnology, or related fields. Strong publication experience and the ability to write high-quality scientific papers in English are important. Experience with reviews, meta-analyses, boreal systems, climate change impact assessment, and Swedish language skills are advantageous. The postdoctoral appointment is intended for junior researchers, and SLU states a preference for candidates whose doctoral degree is three years old at most.
