The project focuses on plant immune engineering, immune receptor engineering, and single-cell/spatial analyses of plant–pathogen interactions using computational, imaging, and molecular approaches. The lab highlights work in plant biology, genomics, computational biology, and plant innate immunity.

Eligibility: applicants should hold a Ph.D. in plant biology, molecular biology, genetics, computational biology, or a related field. A strong background in genomics and/or computational biology is required, along with first-author peer-reviewed publications. Experience in plant innate immunity is preferred, and the role requires both independent and collaborative work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Funding: the position is initially for two years, with possible extension based on performance and funding. Salary is based on the University of California postdoctoral salary scale, with a stated range of US$69,073–82,836 per year.
