About this position
Universidad de Sevilla is hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher in Plasma Physics and Control to join an international and collaborative fusion research environment focused on the SMART tokamak, one of Europe’s innovative compact fusion devices.
The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge work in negative triangularity, with an independent research line and a leadership role in control and data acquisition systems for SMART. The post also includes developing and applying numerical simulations with emphasis on plasma equilibrium and transport phenomena, as well as contributing to the development of high-temperature superconducting coils for the next SMART upgrade.
