This is a research-focused position in aeroelasticity, wind energy systems, and the development of testing infrastructures. Responsibilities include developing real-time simulation algorithms, conducting experimental investigations on test rigs, programming experimental procedures, carrying out laboratory and field measurements, collaborating with industry partners, supervising student research projects, and publishing results in an interdisciplinary environment.
The appointment is a fixed-term project position until 2026-07-31, starting 2026-10-01, and is paid at TV-L E13 on a full-time basis (40 hours/week). Funding is explicitly subject to project funding.
Eligibility highlights include a completed scientific university degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable discipline with a good result, plus a completed or nearly completed PhD in technical mechanics or a related doctoral field.
