About this position
We are hiring a Postdoctoral Researcher in Experimental Polariton Photonics and Neuromorphic Computing in Warsaw, Poland.
The position is part of research on exciton-polariton-based neuromorphic computing, combining experimental optics, semiconductor photonics, nonlinear polariton physics, and optical neural-network concepts. The successful candidate will join the Light-Matter Interaction Group at the Center for Theoretical Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences and work in close experimental collaboration with Prof. Barbara Piętka’s group at the Faculty of Physics, University of Warsaw.
Research activities include optical and spectroscopic experiments, studies of nonlinear polariton phenomena, and experimental demonstrations of neuromorphic and neural-network functionalities. The post is especially suitable for candidates with a PhD and practical experience in experimental optics, photonics, semiconductor spectroscopy, or related areas. Experience with polaritons or neuromorphic photonics is welcome.
Funding details: the role is full-time, lasts up to 9 months, and offers a salary of PLN 12,000–16,000 gross/month.
