About this position

The University of South Florida Department of Neurosurgery, Brain & Spine is recruiting a Postdoctoral Spine Research Fellow to join their high-volume academic spine program in Tampa, Florida. This fully funded, full-time fellowship offers a unique opportunity to advance clinical spine and spinal deformity research in a dynamic academic environment. Fellows will benefit from strong mentorship within an established neurosurgery department and have access to outstanding opportunities for research productivity and publications. The fellowship focuses on clinical spine research and deformity studies, including database analyses, systematic reviews, and participation in cadaveric surgical labs. Fellows will also be involved in preparing abstracts, manuscripts, and conference presentations, as well as attending Grand Rounds and Spine Conferences. The ideal candidate will hold an MD (or equivalent) and possess a strong interest in spine research, with a background in biostatistics, data analysis, and prior peer-reviewed publications being highly desirable.
