About this position
***Funded PhD position for January 2025***The Curbcut (curbcut.ca) team at McGill University is recruiting a PhD student in the School of Urban Planning, to begin January 2025. The student will join the team building the Canadian Housing Observatory, a federally funded platform for deep, dynamic, and intuitive exploration of housing issues in Canadian cities and regions.The student should have strong interests in Canadian housing questions, previous experience working with housing data, and strong quantitative and/or spatial analysis skills, ideally in R.The student will be supervised by Prof. David Wachsmuth in the School of Urban Planning, and will be able to develop a dissertation project connected to the Canadian Housing Observatory.The position is fully funded.
