PhD position in 3D bioprinting at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in Germany. The Doryab Lab is seeking a PhD candidate to join a research programme focused on 3D bioprinting of cell-laden tissue constructs, development and optimisation of bioinks and printing parameters, and integration of bioprinted tissues with microphysiological systems . The work also includes cell culture and functional characterisation of bioprinted constructs, with strong relevance to organ-on-chip , lung-on-chip , and translational tissue engineering research. Eligibility highlights: applicants should hold a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in biomedical engineering, bioengineering, biomaterials, materials science, tissue engineering, biotechnology, or a related field. Hands-on experience in 3D bioprinting is required. Experience with biofabrication, biomaterials/hydrogels, cell culture, CAD, or additive manufacturing is considered an asset. Good written and spoken English is required. Candidates should be based in Germany or available to start at short notice.
