The research project centers on the development of resistive memories (memristors) using semiconductor-insulator structures derived from controlled oxidation of 2D layered semiconductors. These features are crucial for next-generation computational efficiency and AI applications. The successful candidate will join a vibrant research environment, collaborating with the group of Prof. Tony Kenyon and other postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers. The project involves designing, fabricating, and testing new resistive memory devices and integrated circuits, with applications in image recognition and neural network hardware.
