Open PhD positions are available in Telecommunications Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC BarcelonaTech) within the Terahertz Optoelectronics Research Group . The research topics focus on terahertz (THz) communications , integrated sensing, communications & computing , electromagnetic and inverse design , semiconductor devices , metasurfaces , and 6G imaging and sensing technologies . Project directions include next-generation THz components, reconfigurable metasurfaces and beam shaping, passive diffractive optical networks, and proof-of-concept THz communication systems.
