PhD project in the mechanisms of neural and behavioral change in the developing visual system in humans , hosted by the University of Hamburg and organized through the Hector Fellow Academy . The project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Brigitte Röder and focuses on visual and multisensory functions, neuroplasticity, learning, visual attention, visual spatial processing, and locomotion. This doctoral position is based at the Biological Psychology and Neuropsychology group at the University of Hamburg in Germany. It is a funded PhD opportunity for a first-stage researcher and is designed for applicants interested in human perception, developmental change, and the neural basis of visual processing. The project is especially relevant to students with training in experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience, and those with interest in neuroscience methods such as EEG or fMRI. Funding is available for four years (3+1) , with the initial contract issued for one year and extended upon satisfactory progress. The position is paid according to TVöD-L E13 (75%) , and includes research funding of up to €9,500 per year .
