Postdoctoral Researcher / Researcher opportunity at the University of Alberta in wireless and satellite communications . The project focuses on advanced next-generation wireless systems and may include cell-free and distributed wireless networks , terrestrial and non-terrestrial/satellite communication systems , integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) , wireless channel modeling , signal processing , resource allocation and optimization , and multi-hop networking and resilient communication . Applicants should have a strong background in wireless communications , signal processing , communication networks , or a closely related field, plus demonstrated research experience and strong analytical and programming skills. Canadian citizens or Canadian permanent residents are preferred. The appointment is expected to start as an initial ~3-month position, with the possibility of extension for another 3 months to 1 year depending on project progress and needs.
