Estelle Venter is a Professor of Veterinary Education at James Cook University, Australia. Her research focuses on viral diseases affecting livestock, with recent publications addressing topics such as the antigenic shift in Bluetongue viruses, the detection of Rift Valley Fever virus, and the expansion of lumpy skin disease. Through her work, she aims to improve understanding of disease pathogenesis and enhance livestock management and food security strategies.
