Mississippi State University’s Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering is opening PhD/Master’s graduate research assistant positions in the Pathak Precision Agriculture Laboratory (PPAL), starting Spring 2027 . The lab focuses on intelligent agricultural systems and precision agriculture , combining biophysical modeling , remote sensing , IoT , machine learning , robotics , and reinforcement learning to build digital twins of farming systems and support sustainable crop production.
