Aalborg University is advertising two postdoctoral positions in the research project TIMED – How Children and Youth Learn Time Sense in Educational Transitions , led by Jin Hui Li (Associate Professor). The project is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark through a Sapere Aude Research Leader grant . The positions focus on educational transitions , social inequality , temporality , and ethnographic research . One postdoc will study the transition from kindergarten to primary school ; the other will study the transition from lower secondary school to vocational education . The project invites researchers interested in how children and young people experience, sense, and learn time as they move through education. Successful candidates will contribute to independent ethnographic research within a larger collaborative project, work with an international network of scholars, and help develop new theoretical and methodological approaches to understanding time in education. The post highlights ethnographic fieldwork, theoretical discussion, and collaborative idea development as key parts of the role. This is a postdoctoral opportunity, not a scholarship.
