DP-FOBI (Doctoral Programme for Advancing Forest-Based Bioeconomy) at the University of Eastern Finland is now accepting applications for PhD/doctoral researcher positions in an MSCA-funded, interdisciplinary doctoral training programme. The programme recruits 15 doctoral candidates for 48 months of full-time employment and is designed for early-stage researchers interested in sustainable innovation in the forest-based bioeconomy . Research themes include forest inventory and ecosystem modelling , novel forest-based products , and market behaviour in bioeconomy . These themes connect environmental science, biology, agriculture/natural resource management, chemistry, economics, and business-related research. DP-FOBI offers structured doctoral training in an international, interdisciplinary, and intersectoral environment.
