Fully Funded Postdoctoral Associate Positions in Organ-on-Chip and Microphysiological Systems at the University of Pittsburgh

The Benam Lung Microengineering Lab at the University of Pittsburgh is recruiting six fully funded Postdoctoral Associate positions in organ-on-chip and microphysiological systems . Research areas include: lung models and host–pathogen interactions , microvascular models and extracellular matrix biology , intestinal models and oral drug delivery , hematopoietic and immune-system modeling , hepatic models and drug metabolism , and virology and infectious-disease modeling . This is highly interdisciplinary work at the interface of engineering and biology , with applications in infection dynamics, PK/PD, therapeutic development, technology development, and intellectual property. The lab highlights access to strong research infrastructure and collaborations across academic, government, and translational teams. Eligibility: applicants should hold, or expect shortly to receive, a PhD, MD, MD-PhD, or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline. Experience in cell biology, bioengineering, tissue engineering, pharmacology, immunology, virology, infectious diseases , or related fields is encouraged.
