Postdoctoral Associate in Neurology, Aging and Dementia Research

Boston University School of Medicine is recruiting a Postdoctoral Associate in Neurology focused on aging, dementia, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), Alzheimer’s disease, and related dementias . The position is based at the BU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) and involves multidisciplinary research training with joint research and clinical supervision. Research activities include clinical-pathological correlation studies, longitudinal clinical outcome studies, imaging and fluid biomarker studies, image analysis, risk factor studies, participant clinical interviews, and multidisciplinary diagnostic consensus conferences. The role is especially relevant for candidates interested in translational neuroscience, neurodegeneration, clinical neuropsychology, and biomarker-based research. Applicants should hold a PhD in neuroscience or a related field and have a strong research background with an interest in academic research careers. Eligible clinical PhDs, preferably in clinical neuropsychology , may participate in supervised clinical neuropsychological assessment at Boston Medical Center for up to 25% of their time, supporting board-certification requirements in clinical neuropsychology.
