and related advanced materials research, including
carbon fibers from heavy petroleum fractions

graphitic and porous carbon materials

energy storage materials
, and
heavy petroleum residue valorization and carbonization
.

PhD
in
Chemical Engineering

Materials Science

Mechanical Engineering
, or a related field, with research experience in carbon materials, composites, petroleum processing, or energy storage.
Preferred expertise includes
mesophase pitch synthesis

carbon fiber processing and melt spinning

CFRP composites

CNT synthesis

carbonization/graphitization
,
electrochemical characterization
, and advanced characterization techniques such as
Raman
