The project is titled “Securing Democratic Governance in the Indo-Pacific: Mapping Hidden Private Influence in Regional Education Governance” and is being supervised by Prachi Srivastava (Principal Supervisor) and Elisa Di Gregorio (Co-Supervisor). The research examines how private actors influence education governance in the Indo-Pacific, with a focus on democratic governance, policy networks, open data, and open science. This is a targeted PhD student recruitment linked to a competitive university PhD Signature Research Theme (SRT) Scholarship . The post states that both domestic and international students can apply. The opportunity is especially suitable for applicants with a strong background in global education policy, comparative/international education, global development, or allied fields, plus master's-level or equivalent research skills. Applicants should also have a motivated interest in open data and open science and be prepared to work on at least one line of project inquiry. The PhD is intended to start in 2027 .
