Postdoctoral Fellow - Ultrafast Spin Qubit Readout for Quantum Computing

Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Basel in the Quantum Opto-Electronics Group (QOEG), led by Prof. Dr. Tomasz Smoleński in the Department of Physics, within the NCCR SPIN consortium. Required background includes a completed or nearly completed PhD in Physics, Nanoscience, Electrical/Optical Engineering, or a related area; strong expertise in condensed matter physics; experience with quantum dot systems or superconducting circuits; high-frequency transport experience at low temperatures; and programming/data acquisition skills in Python, C++, or LabView. Strong publication and presentation record, teamwork, independence, innovation, and excellent English are emphasized. Experience with dilution refrigerators and ultrafast optical or pulsed laser systems is desirable.
