Ryan Gumpper

Ryan Gumpper’s lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring a postdoc in protein purification and structural biology . The project is centered on G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) , which are important in major physiological systems including taste, vision, cardiac function, and neurotransmission. The ideal candidate should have experience with protein purification and structural biology methods; cryo-EM experience is a plus. This is a postdoctoral research associate opening in an academic lab environment, and interested applicants are encouraged to reach out directly to the PI. Application details are available through the UNC PeopleAdmin posting. The post does not specify a deadline or funding package in the text provided.

Ryan Gumpper’s lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is hiring a Postdoctoral Research Associate in protein purification and structural biology . The position is especially relevant for researchers with hands-on experience in cryo-EM and membrane protein purification , though those skills are described as a plus rather than a strict requirement. The lab sits within the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy , in the area of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry , making this a strong fit for candidates interested in protein structure, biophysical methods, and chemical biology research. This is a postdoctoral opening , not a PhD or master’s call. The post does not mention stipend, funding level, deadline, or visa/fee waivers. Interested applicants are asked to contact Ryan Gumpper directly, and the post includes a link to the official UNC PeopleAdmin job page.
