IIUM Postgraduate Ummatic Scholarship

Fully funded PhD opportunity at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) under the IIUM Postgraduate Ummatic Scholarship 2026. The opening is for an international candidate only and is based at the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences, with research in nutraceuticals. This is a student-oriented PhD scholarship rather than a job post, and it is aimed at a young, talented, dynamic, and committed applicant who can join an international research team.

The scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver (up to RM81,400 for up to 6 semesters, inclusive of Takaful, recurrent, evaluation, and bench fees) and a monthly stipend of RM1,000 for up to 36 months. The stipend is not applicable for some units, including IIIBF, KOD, and KOP. The post emphasizes that candidates who are not eligible for the scholarship criteria should not apply.

Eligibility highlights include enrolment in Semester 1, 2026/2027, a minimum CGPA of 3.70 or equivalent, and for fast-track applicants, proven research capability through publications.
