Fully Funded Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals – Master's in Governance, Public Health, Entrepreneurship, STEM Swedish Institute in Sweden

The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals offer a unique opportunity for talented individuals from 34 eligible countries to pursue fully funded master's studies in Sweden. The scholarship is open for the 2026/2027 academic year and supports a wide range of English-taught master's programmes at Swedish universities. Key fields of study include Governance, Public Health, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Recipients will join the SI Network for Global Professionals, gaining access to a vibrant community of future leaders and change-makers.

To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of one of the specified countries and liable to pay tuition fees in Sweden. They must apply for and be admitted to an eligible master's programme, with the list of programmes published in mid-November 2025. A minimum of 3,000 hours of work experience is required for most applicants, along with demonstrated leadership experience from employment or civil society engagement. The scholarship is highly competitive and prioritizes candidates whose studies align with sustainable development goals and who can articulate how their education will benefit their home country or region.

The scholarship covers full tuition fees, a monthly living allowance of SEK 12,000, and a travel grant of SEK 15,000 (or SEK 10,000 for certain countries). It does not include insurance, family grants, or the university application fee. The application process involves first applying to master's programmes via University Admissions (16 October 2025 – 15 January 2026), then submitting a separate scholarship application between 9–25 February 2026. The results of university admissions will be announced on 26 March 2026, and scholarship awards on 23 April 2026.
