Eligibility requirements include a master’s-level education (3+2 Bologna equivalent), a relevant background in the social sciences, completion of the master’s degree before the deadline, strong academic English, and strong grades. The department prioritizes applicants with high grades; the master’s thesis should normally be graded 10 or equivalent on the Danish scale, and the combined GPA should meet the stated thresholds or top-40% documentation. In rare cases, the grade requirement may be waived.
